Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Tau34 - Video Splitter (the “App”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on devices you own or control, in accordance with the App Store Terms and these Terms of Use.

Functionality and Use

• The App cuts videos into equal parts with a user-selected length from 2 to 15 seconds (1-second step).
• Recommended input length is up to 10 minutes per video for best performance.
• Do not close or lock the screen during cutting; processing must complete for the output to be saved.
• Performance and processing time depend on your device and available system resources.

User Content and Permissions

• You retain all rights to your videos. The App processes media locally and saves results to your photo library.
• The App requires Photos permission to read selected videos and save output clips. Without this permission, functionality is limited.
• You are solely responsible for having the necessary rights to use, process, and share any content handled by the App.

No Backend and No Subscriptions

The App operates fully on-device, uses no backend or third-party servers, and is currently free to use with no subscriptions.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to violate any law or the rights of others, including copyright, privacy, or other applicable regulations. Do not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or disrupt the App.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or reliability of processing. We do not warrant that processing will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data or content arising from the use of the App. Your sole remedy is to stop using the App.

Device and System Requirements

You are responsible for maintaining a compatible device and system. Cutting speed and success depend on your hardware, available storage, battery level, and system state.

Updates and Changes

We may update the App or these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws of your jurisdiction unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection law.
